Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician - Mechanical Systems to join our team at Regal Rexnord. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing troubleshooting, repair work, and preventative maintenance on all plant machinery, equipment, and instrumentation to sustain plant operations at highly efficient levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment and machinery
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, using precision measuring and testing instruments to diagnose problems
  • Repair and replace defective parts, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools and precision instruments
  • Document project activities and prepare operating standards and/or maintenance procedures for all equipment and processes
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories, checking stock levels and anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Trade or technical certification preferred
  • 8+ years of preventative maintenance experience, with a strong background in mechanical systems and hydraulic systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple job effects and handle detailed and broad range projects
  • Experience with software interface tools for Allen Bradley or GE Fanuc, PLCs, and Windows-based software preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to physically complete required tasks, including standing for extended periods, stooping, bending, climbing ladders/stairs, working on roofs, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25lbs
