Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

PRIDE Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join their team in Duluth, Georgia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical imaging principles, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners and X-ray machines.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Conduct imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-rays, and ensure high-quality images are obtained.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and imaging results.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Imaging or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography (CT).
  • 1-2 years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
