About the Role:

Maddison Harry Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring high-quality images are captured for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
