Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Creative Arts Therapist to join our team. This role focuses on delivering therapeutic services to children and adolescents, emphasizing the importance of creative expression in the healing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their unique needs.
- Develop and implement individualized, multidisciplinary treatment plans that incorporate artistic modalities.
- Provide therapy sessions that utilize various art forms to facilitate emotional and psychological growth.
Compensation:
The starting salary for this position is $50,500 annually, with adjustments based on relevant qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience working directly with children and families, preferably with those who have experienced trauma.
Work Schedule:
Applicants must be available for a two-week orientation, typically scheduled Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is necessary.
- Candidates should be prepared for physical activities, including walking, sitting, and lifting as needed during therapeutic interventions.
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical screenings is mandatory.
