Job Description

Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Convex Tech. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing field operations on assigned projects, managing personnel, budget, and construction operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee field personnel, budget, daily/weekly schedules, and construction operations
  • Pre-plan work activities with Project Manager to develop best means and methods, including safety action plans
  • Provide leadership and direction to construction personnel
  • Supervise and schedule grading, drainage, paving, milling, and other miscellaneous construction activities
  • Take an active role in emphasizing safety, quality, and production, leading by example
  • Carry out job duties while maintaining our company's Core Values
  • Coordinate equipment and crews and other job-related activities to maximize efficiency
  • Develop and train Foremen, Heavy Equipment Operators, and Laborers
  • Assist with survey and field layout

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience with Mission Critical Work
  • 10 years experience as an Assistant Superintendent (Required)
  • Must be able and willing to travel
  • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred (can provide for the right candidate)
  • CPR Training and Certification required
