Physician Assistant

As a Rehabilitation Specialist at Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their physical function and independence. Your expertise will be essential in providing physical therapy evaluations and services to patients, consistent with hospital policies and procedures, standards of practice, and regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing physical therapy evaluations and services to patients as ordered by a physician
- Assisting patients in the restoration of function and prevention of disability following disease, injury, or loss of a limb
- Working collaboratively with the Rehab Director to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Current licensure in NC as a Physical Therapist (PT) or state licensure examination eligible
- CPR certification
- Successful completion of a competency-based orientation
Work requires the physical demands of positioning, transferring, and lifting patients. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
