Position Summary:
The Field Service Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the local Service Operations with minimal supervision. This position is primarily office-based but includes responsibilities that extend into the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily functions of the service department.
- Develop and implement schedules to fulfill daily customer obligations while ensuring proper execution.
- Assess workload and staffing to meet customer needs efficiently.
- Guarantee timely project completion within budget and to customer satisfaction.
- Manage subcontractors, including site evaluations, quality assurance, and order processing.
- Conduct daily inspections and inventory checks of service vehicles.
- Lead initiatives for the growth of the service department.
- Uphold and reinforce company policies and procedures.
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in response to changes.
- Ensure adherence to company standards and regulations.
- Champion the ADVANCE Technician Training Program within the division.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Duties:

Work Environment:

Travel Requirements:
- This role necessitates planned business travel.
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience in the dock and door industry is advantageous.
- Must obtain forklift and scissor lift certifications within 30 days and complete OSHA 30 certification training within 60 days of hire.
- Customer service orientation is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.
- Active listening and effective situational assessment skills are required.
- Attention to detail is critical.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams) is preferred.
