Pediatric Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist

At Children's Hospital Los Angeles, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill children with complex heart and lung conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with pediatric intensivists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, family-centered care
- Implement and evaluate evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- 1 year of RN experience with at least 1 year of acute pediatric experience
- Ability to assess patient needs, prioritize tasks, and maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California and American Heart Association BLS and PALS certification
