Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiac care team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our experienced medical staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses to treatment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on cardiology or cardiovascular nursing.
- Minimum of one year of experience in acute care, preferably in a cardiovascular or cardiac surgery unit.
- Valid RN license issued by the State of California.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Basic EKG certification.
- Basic Dysrhythmia Certification.
