About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Soho House & Co. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring that our high standards of food quality and safety are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen systems and processes to ensure efficient and productive operations.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu options, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's culinary vision and strategy.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, inventory, and supplies, ensuring that all resources are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house and events, to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar volume-based business, with a proven track record of success in kitchen leadership and management.
  • Culinary training and a passion for developing and growing as a chef.
  • Experience managing P&Ls, labor, purchasing, vendors, and quality control, with a focus on delivering results in revenue.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Food Safety certification and experience with local sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
