Job Summary

Falcon Construction is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to provide administrative support to our project management team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and maintain documentation, organization, and correspondence to achieve job start compliance with sub-contractors and vendors.
  • Assist with maintaining office equipment and related services, including IT, in conjunction with budget and approval set forth by Executive Management.
  • Create and manage files and records for both company and projects affiliated with the company as directed.
  • Assemble and distribute documents, manuals, or other business materials as requested.
  • Coordinate all office meetings and special events at request in conjunction with Executive Management.
  • Errands as requested by Executive Management.
  • Create, maintain, update, and distribute the Employee Handbook with company policies and procedures in conjunction with Executive Management.
  • Welcome and orient new employees in conjunction with the process set forth by Executive Management.
  • Maintain expense accounts per project assigned.
  • Support the Project Management department to include job cost setup and cost code/budget entry into the accounting system and other project management duties at the direction of the Project Manager and Executive Management.

Requirements:

The individual must be professional, neat, organized, and have a high attention to detail. People skills, multi-tasking ability, and telephone skills are required. Ability to direct and manage personnel and communicate effectively and timely to an extent.

Must have proficient computer skills that include: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks, and a minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.

Excellent grammar and spelling, bi-lingual a plus (Spanish).

Job Specifics:

Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. (prompt) (one hour lunch with flexibility of timing beneficial to all). Must be willing to come in early or leave late on occasion for extra projects at Executive Management request.

Salaried position, any overtime will be compensated through equal Paid Time off within a 60-day period.

All vacation, sick, and personal time in conjunction with standard company policy.

Dress – business casual unless requested by Executive Management for special events then corporate business attire.

Parking – free covered office parking.

Reviews – Annual performance review not necessarily tied in with compensation adjustment.

Benefits – in conjunction with benefits offered by standard company policy including healthcare. Full healthcare benefits available after 90 days of employment.
