Job Title: Electrical Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team for a project in Apex, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing electrical installations, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and coordinate electrical installations, including new or modified installations, to ensure effective and efficient construction or repair of wiring, fixtures, or equipment.
  2. Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  3. Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to ensure accurate execution of electrical work.
  4. Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  5. Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules, using knowledge of equipment capacities and personnel capabilities.
  6. Attend project planning and scheduling meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  7. Analyze and resolve work problems, ensuring timely completion of tasks and minimal disruption to the project.
  8. Maintain accurate time records and inspect quality of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
  9. Perform frequent safety inspections of work areas, equipment, tools, and employees to ensure compliance with company safety policies and government regulations.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Appropriate journeyman experience in electrical construction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely access all areas of the project site.
