About the Role

Campus Life & Style is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of our properties, equipment, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Property Administration: Manage all building services and preventative maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Financial Performance: Assist in maintaining occupancy rates and collections, and contribute to the development of effective cost control and revenue improvement strategies.
  • Customer Experience: Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors, ensuring that all requests are handled promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience managing building systems in student housing, with 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Proficient in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, with experience in building automation systems and life safety systems.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in a related field preferred.
  • Certifications: EPA 608 certification and other relevant certifications.
