Job Summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our communities, providing exceptional customer service to our residents, and maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Management: Oversee the management of our residential properties, including leasing, maintenance, and customer service.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of staff members to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of quality and safety standards.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Marketing and Leasing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and lease existing units.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, respond to concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure that all properties are maintained in a safe and clean condition, and that all residents are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in multi-family residential property management, preferably with direct supervision of employees.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, 2+ years of college preferred.
  • Certifications: Accredited Resident Manager or similar designation preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to keep accurate and legible financial records, and a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to properties and occasional evening and weekend work. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management.
