Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Maternal Transport, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care during transport between healthcare facilities. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team during patient transport.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and stabilize patients, implementing necessary diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
  • Maintain adherence to therapeutic standards, ensuring quality of care through collaboration with team members.
  • Engage in decision-making processes to enhance operational efficiency within the transport team.
  • Complete all required medical documentation accurately and promptly.
  • May be required to operate an ambulance for patient and supply transport.

Qualifications:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Must possess a Registered Nurse credential from the appropriate nursing board prior to employment.
  • Required certifications include:
    • Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
    • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire.
    • Neonatal Resuscitation certification within 6 months of hire.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
  • Preferred certifications include:
    • Certification in ER Vehicle Operation.
    • Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Flight.
    • Emergency Medical Technician credential.

Education:
  • A diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure is required at the time of hire.
