We're seeking a highly skilled Optical Supervisor to join our team of in-house optical professionals. As a key member of our store team, you'll be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optical Duties:
    • Work directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs
    • Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with precision
    • Check finished eyewear for quality and accuracy
    • Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
  • Leadership Responsibilities:
    • Set the store up for success each day by executing operational, service, and staff zoning procedures
    • Drive store vision and sales by providing exceptional service and acting as the main contact for customer and operational questions
    • Lead and mentor the Optical team, including participants of our Optician Apprentice Program
    • Maintain general store systems, inventory databases, and business operations
    • Foster a productive, positive employee culture in the store
Requirements:
  • A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states) with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities
  • Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries
  • A clear, effective, and professional communicator
  • Dedicated to going above-and-beyond to make customers and teammates happy
  • An energetic, positive team player who can adapt in a fast-paced work environment
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

Warby Parker, in good faith, believes that the posted hourly range is accurate for this role at the time of posting. Warby Parker may pay more or less than the posted range based on factors such as relevant experience and skills, qualifications, and location, among others. This range may be modified in the future. In addition to the hourly rate, this role is also eligible to receive a cash bonus as part of the total compensation package. Details and eligibility will be discussed during the application process.

Pay Range: $28.25-$35.50 USD
