Job Summary:

The Lead Caregiver will act in a dual role capacity supporting both the office, caregivers and clients with daily/operational needs. Duties will consist of meeting/greeting new clients and caregivers at introductions, covering caregivers' vacations and sick calls, mentoring and shadowing new caregivers, and supporting the Operations team with projects, as assigned. The position is full time (40 hours per week). This is a great position for someone who likes some variety and spontaneity to their day.

  • Document Daily Activities: Accurately document daily activities, including any significant changes in a client's needs or living conditions.
  • Maintain Regular Communication: Establish and maintain regular communication with supervisors and franchise office staff to ensure seamless coordination and support.
  • Provide Companionship and Home Helper Services: Offer companionship and conversation, provide stabilization and assistance with walking, prepare meals and clean up meal-related items, provide medication reminders and appointment reminders, perform light housekeeping tasks, wash and iron laundry, run errands, and accompany clients to appointments.
  • Provide Personal Care Services: Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence issues, as needed.
  • Provide Specialized Services: Offer advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia Care and Hospice Care, as required.
Job Type and Location:

This is a full-time position, working in person within Central Boston. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, including availability for weekend, day, evening, night, and overnight shifts, as well as on-call and holiday coverage.

Compensation:

The salary for this position is $19.00 per hour.
