We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist to join our team at Columbia Tech Center. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and venipuncture collection.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and handle specimens with precision and care
- Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to achieve positive patient outcomes
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues
- Understand and follow department procedures and computerized EMR and Lab Information Systems
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification
- Minimum of one year of experience using blood collection techniques in a clinical lab setting (preferred)
