Position Overview

Innovo Detox is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to join our compassionate team. Our facility focuses on providing exceptional care to individuals undergoing detoxification.

As a Detox Nurse, you will engage with patients in a supportive manner, fostering their involvement in treatment post-detox. Your role is crucial in maintaining effective communication, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed treatments and medical procedures as directed by the Medical Director and Nursing Director.
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to clients experiencing various withdrawal symptoms and behavioral health challenges.
  • Accurately document patient observations in compliance with nursing standards and organizational protocols.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to interact with clients who may be in distress or exhibiting challenging behaviors.
  • Educate patients on medications, especially for those initiating new treatments.
  • Monitor and document medication administration through various routes, ensuring adherence to protocols.

Work Schedule and Benefits:

Detox Nurses are typically full-time, working 36 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime pay for hours exceeding this threshold. Additional compensation is available for overnight shifts on weekends. We also offer generous paid time off and double pay for recognized holidays worked.
