Substance Abuse Recovery Nurse

Innovo Detox is seeking dedicated and compassionate nursing professionals to join our team as Detox Nurses. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing care to individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use.

As a Detox Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Administering Medical Treatments: Implement prescribed medical interventions and treatments as directed by the Medical Director and Nursing Director.
• Comprehensive Patient Care: Deliver a full spectrum of nursing care to clients experiencing various withdrawal symptoms and behavioral health challenges.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain precise and timely records of patient observations in accordance with nursing standards and organizational protocols.
• Effective Communication: Engage in skillful communication with patients who may present with physical or mental health issues, ensuring a supportive environment.
• Medication Education: Provide thorough education regarding medications to new patients or those starting new treatments.
• Medication Monitoring: Oversee the administration of medications via oral, sublingual, and inhalation routes, ensuring proper documentation.

Work Schedule and Benefits: Our Detox Nurses typically work full-time hours, with opportunities for overtime pay for hours exceeding the standard schedule. Additional benefits include shift differentials for weekend overnight shifts, generous paid time off, and double pay for recognized holidays worked.
