Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Molding Technician to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze daily process yield reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with test engineers to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and increase process yields.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain process bibles and 5x5s to ensure consistency and accuracy in our manufacturing processes.
  • Perform walkthroughs and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct NPI test evaluations to ensure quality and reliability of our products.
  • Proactively identify and address test escapes to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Update and generate documentation as required to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist project test engineers with test process review and evaluation.
  • Evaluate test probes and set up equipment to perform required programming and verification tests.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency through the use of SPC systems and other quality control measures.
  • Operate automated electronic test equipment to ensure quality and reliability of our products.
  • Responsible for maintaining a continuous flow of the manufacturing line and meeting production goals.
  • Correctly label and stamp boards, and fill out tags to ensure accurate tracking and identification.
  • Advise supervisors of any recurring test failures to ensure prompt corrective action.
  • Ensure assemblies are properly handled and marked to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure daily logs and move/production tickets are accurately maintained to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in manufacturing and quality control. The ideal candidate will have:

  • An AS degree, technical school certification, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all test engineering department procedures.
