Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Molding Technician to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze daily process yield reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with test engineers to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and increase process yields.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain process bibles and 5x5s to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Operate automated electronic test equipment and ensure quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with project test engineers to review and improve test processes.
  • Evaluate test probes and ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Set up equipment to perform programming and verification tests following established procedures.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency through the use of the SPC system.
  • Operate automated test equipment on manufactured circuit board assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Responsible for maintaining a continuous flow of the manufacturing line and meeting production goals.
Requirements

AS degree, Technical School Certification, or equivalent and 5 to 10 years experience, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.

Knowledge and understanding of all test engineering department's procedures pertaining to the individual's job.
