We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at SSM Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use standards of medical-surgical nursing practice to increase the quality of care and quality of life for patients, families, and significant others.
  • Establish effective relationships and serve as an advocate with patients, families, and significant others to facilitate the development of the care plan unique to the patient's care needs.
  • Develop and implement the plan of care, collect assessment data for each patient, determine appropriate nursing diagnoses, identify expected patient outcomes, determine the plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Utilize leadership skills by coordinating and collaborating with patients, families, significant others, communities, and members of the interprofessional team in assessing needs, setting goals, planning interventions, providing care, and evaluating outcomes.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and significant others about measures that promote, maintain, and restore health or promote comfort.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
  • One year of registered nurse experience (Ministry Float) or two years' registered nurse experience (Regional Float).
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of work location.
