Responsibilities:

Utilize leadership skills to coordinate and collaborate with patients, families, significant others, communities, and members of the interprofessional team in assessing needs, setting goals, planning interventions, providing care, and evaluating outcomes.
Educate patients, families, and significant others about measures that promote, maintain, and restore health or promote comfort.
Foster a healthy work environment within the practice setting and profession by serving as a mentor and role model for nursing colleagues, students, and others.
Apply existing evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in healthcare to medical-surgical nursing practice, ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patient-specific needs and clinical needs.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
One year of registered nurse experience (Ministry Float) or two years of registered nurse experience (Regional Float).
Possession of a valid Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin.
Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
