Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in resident assessment and monitoring to ensure optimal care.
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and residents/families to promote a positive care environment.
  • Accurately document all assessments and interventions to maintain accurate patient records.
  • Implement necessary nursing interventions and monitor residents' progress to ensure effective care.
  • Remain current with continuing education and best nursing practices to provide evidence-based care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and possess a current LPN license.
  • CPR and AED certification required.
  • IV certification required, or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job.
