Sigma Design, a leading manufacturer of advanced composite products, is seeking an experienced High-Performance Machinist to join their team in White Salmon, Washington.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in machinist operations, including extensive setup experience, and knowledge of quality systems and QC methods. LEAN Manufacturing skills are highly valued.

The salary range for this position is $20-$40 per hour, depending on experience, with a bonus program based on company performance, employee contribution, and longevity. The employer contributes 84% of the employee-only cost of medical, plus a $1250/year Health Savings Account contribution.

The Machinist II will be responsible for optimizing machine utilization, programming CNC milling machines, and providing manufacturing support. Essential job functions include coordinating workload, visualizing parts/equipment from sketches or oral direction, directing fabrication and installation activities, and maintaining machine tools and capital equipment.

This is a standard machine shop environment with various types of machinery. Safety garments (PPE) must be worn at all times. Ability to stand and work for 12 hours in different positions, lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and pass background check and drug test upon acceptance of an offer.
