About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Strategist to partner with our B2B sales leadership, driving the financial strategy in harmony with go-to-market efforts.

This position is part of our hybrid work model, allowing flexibility while maintaining a strong team presence.

In this role, you will:
  • Act as a financial strategist for our B2B sales teams, aligning financial and operational strategies to enhance growth and profitability.
  • Develop and manage financial forecasting models, establish targets, and analyze performance deviations to inform strategic decisions.
  • Oversee the creation of sales targets and forecasts, ensuring they are both ambitious and attainable, in line with the company's financial objectives.
  • Lead the strategic and financial planning for go-to-market initiatives, providing recommendations on resource allocation for leadership consideration.
  • Work closely with Revenue Operations to design and implement incentive-based compensation plans, delivering actionable financial insights.
  • Establish and monitor key productivity and efficiency metrics across products and channels, regularly analyzing these metrics to promote continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitive dynamics to guide financial strategies and go-to-market plans, leveraging insights to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations for executive and board meetings.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, investment banking, or related fields.
  • 2+ years in relevant roles collaborating with go-to-market organizations, preferably in a high-growth setting; familiarity with consumption-based business models is advantageous.
  • A passion for developing high-performing sales teams and experience collaborating with data science.
  • A strong capacity to critically assess opportunities and risks in financial plans related to go-to-market strategies.
  • A proven track record of building collaborative relationships with business partners and executives, recognized as a trusted advisor.
  • Deep analytical skills and financial modeling expertise, focused on translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively present data insights.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn.
  • A strong interest in technology and artificial intelligence.
