Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Hold a current and unencumbered license in the state of practice
- Have at least one year of experience in the last three years
- Pass a background screening and drug test
- Meet any additional requirements specified by the client or state
Working Conditions
The LPN will work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and psychiatric hospitals.
They may be exposed to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
The ideal candidate will be able to read medical equipment and documents, and will be able to assist with moving patients.
Responsibilities
The LPN will be responsible for:
- Providing skilled nursing services to patients
- Administering medications and treatments
- Monitoring patients' health and recording treatment
- Assisting with rehabilitation programming and activities
- Transporting patients to procedures
