Job SummaryWe are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team in an outpatient dialysis center. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, working under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities- Provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to patients
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs and patient observations
- Set up and operate hemodialysis machines
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families
- Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to work long hours on your feet
