Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a PCT, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Monitor and record patient statistics, observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
- Competitive hourly rate: $32.00/hour
