Job Overview

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide leadership and expertise to our nursing team, focusing on the advancement of neonatal nursing through education, research, and quality improvement initiatives. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop evidence-based protocols and policies that promote clinical excellence and patient safety.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the Level IV Neonatal ICU
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance nursing practice and elevate skills
  • Contribute to advancing neonatal nursing through publications, presentations, and professional development activities
  • Liaise with stakeholders to assess nursing practice and identify staff learning needs
  • Promote the professional advancement of nursing staff
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or higher
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington
  • Five or more years of experience in Level IV NICU setting
  • Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care (RNC-NIC or CCRN-Neonatal)
