Anagram International is a leader in the balloon manufacturing industry, dedicated to creating products that bring joy. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as an experienced Press Operator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret job tickets and oversee the setup of the printing press according to specified instructions.
  • Prepare for production by conducting preliminary runs to assess print quality, registration, color accuracy, die cutting, perforation, and carrier width.
  • Conduct final inspections before production and operate the press to ensure compliance with job specifications, consulting with supervisors as necessary.
  • Notify supervisors regarding potential delays in job completion.
  • Return dies and plates to designated storage after use.
  • Adapt to changing priorities based on production schedules.
  • Assist with the operation of additional pressroom equipment as workload permits.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels of essential supplies and inform supervisors when stock is low.
  • Accurately document materials used in production.
  • Install Anilox rollers, plates, inks, and dies, making adjustments to ensure production quality.
  • Report any required repairs or replacement parts to supervision.
  • Ensure that all equipment is well-maintained and operates safely.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED is required, along with basic computer proficiency.
  • Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in flexographic printing and the ability to follow written instructions.
  • Ability to read and understand safety regulations, operating procedures, and maintenance manuals.
  • Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude through prior experience or pass a mechanical assessment.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, are necessary.
  • Reliable attendance and a willingness to work overtime as needed are essential.

Work Schedule

  • Production roles involve 12-hour shifts, either from 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM, with a rotating schedule of two days on, two days off, including every other weekend.

Additional Compensation

Night shift positions offer a $2.00 differential.
