Job Summary:
This is a hybrid role that requires the ability to work on-site at the Mayo Clinic Rochester campus for coverage rotation and project work as requested. The position involves up to 30% on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall management of clinical trial development, maintenance, and completion processes.
- Collaborate on large, complex, multi-center, investigator-initiated clinical research protocols/programs.
- Apply investigators' scientific data into a cohesive format for protocol documents and associated procedures.
- Provide consultative guidance on regulatory and policy requirements to physicians, study staff, and external sponsors.
- Coordinate the writing of protocol/clinical research documents and ongoing management of pre-written research documents.
- Partner with multidisciplinary stakeholders to navigate the clinical trials process.
- Lead and develop a dynamic research team to shape the future of research.
- Develop and provide input to standard operating procedures and working instructions.
- Serve as an expert resource for other research personnel.
- Lead or participate in committees, task forces, and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical trials management and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
