Position Overview

ePlus Technology, Inc. offers a HYBRID REMOTE opportunity for candidates. Applicants must be prepared to work on-site at the designated office a few days each week and may be required to travel as necessary.

As the Project Management Office (PMO) Lead, you will play a crucial role in establishing PMO standards, mentoring and guiding Project Managers in the successful execution of projects, ensuring adherence to the ePlus project methodology, engaging in strategic customer account planning, and contributing to the achievement of project profitability targets.

Your Impact

The essential functions of this role include:

  • Overseeing, training, and developing the PMO team.
  • Coaching and mentoring Project Managers within the assigned region.
  • Addressing project escalations from clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring project compliance with the ePlus PMO framework.
  • Supporting customer-facing meetings during pre-sales and post-sales phases.
  • Collaborating with Sales and Service leadership to resolve project-related issues.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Working with the Service Management team to meet financial objectives through revenue forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Assisting Sales in identifying new opportunities for ePlus.
  • Building and maintaining strategic customer relationships.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to define and implement PMO standardization.
  • Generating and maintaining project financial health reports.
  • Facilitating smooth transitions for projects to the Managed Services team.
  • Participating in performance reviews to promote communication and professional development.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in technology project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field preferred.
  • Advanced technical degree is a plus.
  • PMP or ITIL certifications are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects of varying scales.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives.
  • Understanding of business processes and operations.
  • Knowledge of operations in strategic business sectors relevant to ePlus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
  • Capacity to motivate teams to exceed client expectations.
  • Political acumen to navigate client organizational dynamics.
  • Collaboration skills with Sales and Service teams on account strategies.
  • Ability to recommend process improvements based on project evaluations.
Position Specifics

The compensation for this position will be determined based on various factors, including market location and individual qualifications. The total compensation package may include additional elements such as commissions and bonuses, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
