About the RoleWe are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our team in Canon City, CO. As an RN with Interim HealthCare Staffing, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and assignments, allowing you to work at a pace that suits your needs. Our competitive hourly rate of $36-$44 per hour ensures that you are fairly compensated for your skills and experience.
Responsibilities- Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries, and diseases in facilities such as clinics, medical offices, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, and schools.
- Work with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs, and aides providing patient care.
- Examine patients, conduct assessments, document condition, and report changes to physician.
- Review, interpret, transcribe, and carry out physician orders for patients.
- Administer medication, operate medical equipment, and maintain a safe environment.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Colorado.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required).
- COVID-19 vaccination card.
- Must have a valid TB screening.
- Proof of flu vaccination, during Flu season in the months of October-March (optional).
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication, and compassion.
