We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician to join our team at Froedtert Health-Oak Creek. As a catalyst for change and advocate for innovation, you will be part of a renowned health system that includes 10 hospitals, nearly 2,000 physicians, and over 45 health centers and clinics.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity for a Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work at our Drexel Health Center in Oak Creek, WI. Our Froedtert Urgent Care practice is a collaborative and consultative environment with exceptional support staff.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred for Nurse Practitioners.
  • A master's degree in nursing is required for Nurse Practitioners, with a graduate degree from an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC is required for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing is required for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is required for Nurse Practitioners.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible to obtain for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies is required for Physician Assistants.
  • Current State certification as a PA and current DEA are required for Physician Assistants.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider is required upon hire for Physician Assistants.
