Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team in Golf, Illinois. This is a part-time position that requires working weekends and holidays.

About the Job
  • This role involves operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images of patients.
  • You will work closely with radiologists to perform fluoroscopic examinations and assist with procedures in surgery.
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  1. Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images of patients.
  2. Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic examinations and procedures in surgery.
  3. Determine the correct exposure factors for each patient and position them accordingly.
  4. Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times.
  5. Adhere to radiation safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) or eligibility to sit for the ARRT exam.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with RIS/HIS systems.
