MEP Construction Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Construction Coordinator to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical construction requirements for Mission Critical facilities, including data centers, and related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all Mechanical and Electrical Trade contractors and vendors
  • Coordinate schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and manage change orders and RFIs
  • Monitor installation and start-up of MEP systems, and commission projects with engineers and owners
  • Manage and lead the MEP team and trade partners from groundbreaking through commissioning and turnover to the owner

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction with large sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficient in developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, and managing project budgets and cost control
