About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team at United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI). As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Minimum two years previous Operating Room experience.
- Current NJ license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current in CPR, ACLS, and PALS.
- Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
- Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.
