As a specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of service quality while working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on a diverse range of material handling machinery.
- Participate in training initiatives to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in our product offerings.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace while executing tasks efficiently.
- Oversee the upkeep of vehicles, tools, and inventory.
- Assist in loading and unloading equipment as necessary.
- Promote the service department's offerings to enhance customer satisfaction and safety.
- Provide mentorship to junior technicians to foster their professional growth.
- Demonstrated experience in operating and troubleshooting material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with the tools and techniques essential for equipment maintenance.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Physical capability to lift weights up to 75 lbs. as required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel as needed for job responsibilities.
- Preferred educational background includes an Associate's degree or progress towards a Diesel Technology degree or a related discipline.
- Ability to meet the physical demands associated with the role.
