Job Title: Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our Early Intervention team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to young children with developmental delays and their families.

Job Summary:

The Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for:

  • Conducting developmental evaluations in the child's natural environment to identify strengths and needs
  • Communicating effectively with families and other team members in oral and written formats
  • Supporting and enhancing the family's ability to interact with their child in daily routines
  • Providing strategies that are appropriate, measurable, and functional as part of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
  • Making recommendations for ongoing services in collaboration with the family, service coordination, and other team members
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • NJ Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
  • At least 2 years of experience working with young children with disabilities
  • Knowledge of the NJ Birth to Three Early Learning Standards and the ability to use them as a common framework for understanding and communicating developmentally appropriate expectations
