Commercial Property Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Manager to join our team at ProRecruiters. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of commercial properties, including tenant relations, maintenance, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage tenant relations, ensuring timely and effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs, supervising contractors and maintenance staff to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee lease agreements, ensuring tenant compliance with lease terms and managing any disputes or issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and overall condition, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Professionally handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain current ones, increasing revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Maintain accurate records, including financial statements, occupancy rates, service contracts, and maintenance reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform CAM (Common Area Maintenance) calculations and reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate capital improvement projects, managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of property management software, including Yardi, MRI, or similar systems.
  • Solid financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties and projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
