Laboratory Professional

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Professional to join our team in Kulpmont, PA. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in collecting and processing blood samples for testing and analysis.

As a Laboratory Professional, you will be responsible for performing venipunctures and skin punctures on patients of all ages, from neonates to adults. You will also process specimens for analysis, utilize computer systems to register patients, facilitate billing, and perform overall specimen accessioning and processing.

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures according to Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute guidelines
• Evaluate specimen suitability and acceptability
• Recognize and resolve discrepancies as appropriate
• Navigate and access multiple computer applications as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• A minimum of 1 year of related work experience
• A Valid Driver's License
• Certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
