Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our maintenance team and ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to the Maintenance team in the assignment and coordination of work to ensure safety, quality, and maximum production efficiencies.
  • Maintenance Planning: Oversee, plan, and issue work orders to appropriate shift team members for the implementation of equipment modifications as well as preventative and any corrective maintenance.
  • Resource Allocation: Prepare and coordinate maintenance resources and provide recommendations for capital and continuous improvement projects.
  • Performance Monitoring: Review the operation of equipment with appropriate personnel to identify maintenance issues in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Review locations KPIs (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly) to make recommendations for improving plant operations, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and maintenance problem resolution.
  • Training and Development: Ensure Maintenance employees are properly trained in all aspects of their jobs. Identify training gaps and develop training plans as needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all regulatory compliance with various governmental agencies such as city, county, state is met on a consistent basis.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and review Maintenance budget monthly; Prepare and implement annual budget each fiscal year.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Assist in recruitment process of Maintenance personnel.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Possesses 5-7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, PLCs, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics, Blow Molding preferably in the Packaging Industry.
  • Management Experience: Management experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, and/or process improvement roles including managing teams of people.
  • Lean Environment: Previous experience working in a Lean environment preferred.
  • Certifications: Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification is a plus.
  • Leadership and Team Building: Exceptional leadership and proven team building skills.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Ability to multi-task, prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Microsoft Office Proficiency: SAP knowledge preferred.
