The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Specialist to join our team. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our solar inverters and energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex field engineering assignments for battery storage and PV applications
  • Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning of battery storage systems and solar inverters
  • Perform preventive maintenance projects and troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues
  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical support and solutions for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale businesses
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering and technical services
  • 3+ years of experience in battery storage systems and 2+ years in solar inverters
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to work with test equipment and hand tools
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other technical tools

Travel and Work Location

80%+ travel required. Full-time position based in Springfield, IL area. No visa/legal sponsorship available.
