The OpportunityAs a Phlebotomist at One Medical, you'll provide an exceptional experience for our patients, helping them accomplish an important part of their care journey. You will be responsible for venipuncture and other clinical support services, working closely with our diverse team of providers and administrative assistants.
- Perform specimen collections and processing with the highest quality standards.
- Provide a personalized and calming experience for our patients.
- Navigate rapidly changing technology and workflows while providing best-in-class human-centered care.
You are a strong team player who uses innovative problem-solving skills to tackle various tasks and challenges. You combine excellent specimen collection technique with tactful interpersonal skills during every interaction with your patients.
What You'll Work On- Provide best-in-class venipuncture services on a population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Perform and assist with extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs.
- Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization.
- Continuously improve the patient experience by answering patient messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting providers and virtual medical teams with clerical duties.
To achieve these goals, we require:
- An active phlebotomy certification to practice in CA and at least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
- Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams (additional experience with remote teams a plus).

- Competitive salary: starts at $25.25 per hour.
We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base hourly range for this role is $25.25 to $27.25 per hour based on a standard full-time schedule. Total compensation packages may be based on factors unique to particular candidates, such as skill sets, depth of experience, and work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include benefits.
