Job Summary

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing examination rooms after each use, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
  • Interviewing patients to gather medical history and vital statistics.
  • Recording patient information, including test results and medication lists, in electronic medical records.
  • Performing routine screening tests, such as blood pressure checks and height/weight measurements.
  • Assisting physicians during examinations by handing over instruments and providing support.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on clinical care.
  • CPR and first aid certification, with a preference for certification as a medical assistant (CMA).
