Job Overview

Are you a meticulous and experienced mortgage loan processor capable of guiding applicants through the mortgage lending journey? If you possess the necessary skills, we are eager to hear from you. We are in search of a proficient and productive mortgage processor to collaborate with our team of mortgage loan officers.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $22 - $30

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients in identifying the most suitable mortgage options based on their unique circumstances.
  • Document the entire loan process from initiation to approval using our systems.
  • Gather and secure essential property and loan documentation to facilitate the processing of mortgage loan files, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records.
  • Act as a liaison among the mortgage lending underwriting department, mortgage loan originators, real estate professionals, and applicants to ensure smooth loan approval.
  • Compile and submit loan packages to lender underwriters for their assessment and decision.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Knowledge of FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan products and experience in mortgage lending is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, along with excellent analytical and time management abilities, is necessary.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
