Patient Care Coordinator Associate

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience in our facilities.
- Enter and update patient demographic and financial information, ensuring accurate registration and billing.
- Obtain and verify patient applications and forms, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Collect patient liabilities and balance cash boxes daily, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care, from admission to discharge.
- Provide wayfinding instructions and hospital information to patients and visitors.
- Meet or exceed audit accuracy standards, working closely with colleagues to resolve errors and improve processes.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of customer service experience in an office setting or healthcare environment.
- Beginner level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work 1 holiday per year and adapt to changing schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a medical office or hospital admitting/registration office.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.
