Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in our acute care setting. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect and report patient information and data
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing, and dressing
- Transport patients safely and efficiently
- Collect specimens for laboratory testing
- Distribute linens and supplies to patient rooms
- Deliver ice and beverages to patients
- Monitor patient safety and provide assistance as needed

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a Connecticut-approved Nurse Aide Training Program preferred
- Proof of college transcript or significant nurse assistant/healthcare experience required
- BLS certification required
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting preferred
